REGISTRATION FEES

STUDIO OWNERS-TEACHERS-ASSISTANT TEACHERS
Discounted Rate – Registered by June 11 is $200.00
Full Rate – Registered after June 11 is $225.00
One Day is $125.00

Teachers are invited to video tape the last 15 minutes of any class. You must be wearing your teacher wristband during this time to be allowed to video tape.

  • Bring 10-14 Students, Teacher pays half tuition

  • Bring 15-19 Students, Teacher attends FREE

  • Bring 20-25 Students, 1 Teacher and 1 Assistant Teacher attend FREE

  • Bring 26 or More Students, 2 Teachers, 2 Assistant Teachers attend FREE

OBSERVER -

*Our Petite Level is designed for young dancers who want to experience the excitement of Jazz Camp but may find the three-day workshop a bit challenging. In this level, dancers will learn a fun, short routine with our talented faculty and have the chance to perform it at the Wrap-Up session on Sunday. It’s all about FUN, FUN, FUN! Petites are also eligible to compete, provided the average age of the routine is 8+.

All ages are guidelines. Final determination is made by each studio.

 
 

 REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  • Please be advised convention wristbands are not to be removed for the duration of the convention.

  • Teacher discounts apply only to students registered for the ENTIRE convention. One Day registrants do not apply.

  • Teachers and Assistant Teachers are allowed access to all ballrooms. Assistant Teachers welcome to participate in the competition.

  • One Day registrants are not eligible for Scholarships.

  • Scholarship forms must be submitted when mailing registration.

  • Observers are permitted in the Advanced, Intermediate, Student, Mini and Petite Ballrooms ONLY. Siblings under 6 years of age may attend FREE under parental supervision. Anyone not displaying their observer band will be asked to leave the ballroom immediately.

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES

  • Registration Fees are non-refundable…no exceptions.

  • Age Categories are used as a guideline. Teachers, please use your discretion. If a student placement problem arises, please see Registration Desk.

CONVENTION ETIQUETTE

  • CDC would like to see a professional atmosphere maintained. When leaving the ballrooms quiet and courteous behavior is appreciated.

  • Please respect our host hotel. Be mindful during late night or early morning hours. Slamming doors and loud talking in the hallways should be kept to a minimum. Help us maintain a pleasant relationship with our hotel so that they will look forward to our return visits.

  • No Videotaping is allowed in any ballroom EXCEPT the approved Teachers. Audio recorders permitted.

  • When leaving a ballroom, make sure you have all your personal belongings.

  • CDC and convention hotels are not responsible for injury or personal property.

  • OBSERVERS: Talking and socializing in the dance room should be kept to a minimum. Observer wristbands must be visible at all times. For the safety of our dancers, anyone not displaying an observer wristband will be asked to leave the ballroom immediately.

SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES

  • Dancers must be registered for the entire convention to be eligible for scholarships.

  • One Day registrants are not eligible for Scholarships.

  • Dancers will be assigned a scholarship number. Scholarship numbers must be worn throughout the convention. All dancers will be evaluated throughout the weekend. Scholarships will be awarded on Sunday during the wrap-up session.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We have secured low room rates at the Hyatt. Make your weekend a complete dance event by staying at the hotel for all the fun and excitement. Don’t miss a “dancecation” even if you live close to the hotel. In order for us to keep a special low rate, it is imperative that you assist us by pre-registering with the Hotel.
